Listening to Live 8 via AOL while looking at pictures. Saw this one from Japan. Making poverty history, scare them into doubling the aid!

Royal Colleg of Art – stuff

Students exhibit tomorrow’s designs They are still doing fun stuff – much like when we visited there a few years ago (2001?) when Josh graduated from computer related design. One thing they do a lot of is exploring what can we substituted for a keyboard, what can be substituted for a screen, and they come up with new stuff all the time.

I like this light roller thing

Now we’ve created a paint roller which you can essentially graffiti with.

Mappr

Mappr! Where It’s At. Nice and especially nice that this can be done. Yahoo do have a lock-in to our data, but various aps can get photos out. How does the data lock in affect me? I am committed as I have all the captions and comments and groups on their servers. I am in an Owned community. And the owners are not in it for the community (well maybe some of them are! see esthr posts below). They do need to make the community work or we will all leave in droves once there is a bettr one… who knows how it will all pan out by 2012. That I can have my pix appear here on the blog, and on mappr AND especially in my RSS feeds, where I can see who has added photos is great.

Pity it is not a world map yet! Thanks Amy (who knows the developers) for sending the link.

investr

EDventure :: investr in Flickr [w corrected link] I blogged about what an innovative user Esthr was, just noticed she is an ownr, as well as a user – a yahoo owner now.

Anothr thought on flickr as blog: It is not so good for “Blog This” Does not let you make links as easily as I have just done now. A flickr RSS feed for my pix. I am sticking with my blog, but whatever the imput it all comes out in the aggregator where I manage my attention.
